Your donations will serve the library, the bookstore and the community. The Friends of the Library has raised over a million dollars for the library in the last 25 years. This money was raised through memberships, book sales, and Seymour’s Bookstore. These funds have been used to build our community room, construct a new entrance to the library, purchase new furnishings, create a teen area, and buy computers for the children’s area. In addition, we provide each department of the library with an annual budget to purchase particular materials such as books, craft materials, games, software, or any item they might need for their children and adult programming. The FOL also provides the music and speaker series for the library which is free to the community.
