The Friends of the Library (FOL) is now using Zeffy (vs. PayPal) to manage our online memberships. It’s a free platform for nonprofits, so 100% of your donation goes to the cause—no fees taken out!
The platform assumes a convenient automatic renewal function and documents this throughout – including noting your next renewal date (September 30 next year!). If you prefer not to have your dues automated, you may uncheck the “Automatic Renewal” check box in the Summary section.
Zeffy is funded entirely by optional tips from donors. Their suggested tip is automatically added to your donation amount. However, before you hit “Donate”, you may adjust or entirely remove the tip by typing in your change, including 0, by selecting “Other” in the dropdown menu provided in the Donation Summary box.
